Originally from Tokyo, eill is a captivating singer-songwriter with a musical style rooted in black music and a voice that combines sweetness, sadness, sensuality, and strength. Her artist name comes from Eill, the goddess of healing in Norse mythology, and her name expresses her belief that the power of healing resides in music as well. She made her major debut in April 2021 with "Koko ni Kikyu Shite," the ending theme song for the TV anime "Tokyo Revengers." She subsequently released "Finale," the theme song for the animated film "Tunnel to Summer, Exit to Goodbye," which became a smash hit in Korea and Taiwan. Additionally, eill provided the theme song and insert songs for both seasons 1 and 2 of the highly anticipated romance reality show "Love Transit." Her diverse songwriting skills have earned her critical acclaim, and she has written songs for artists such as BE:FIRST, Taeyeon (formerly of Girls' Generation), EXIDWEST, NEWS, and Ryota Katayose. Many artists have been captivated by her emotionally rich singing voice, and she has made guest appearances on numerous songs by domestic and international artists, including m-flo, SKY-HI, and PINKSWEAT$. She also wrote the Japanese lyrics for popular songs by the Korean six-member idol group IVE. She is also a member of the four-member girl band "CHIANZ," which she formed with her childhood friend, and is active in a wide range of fields as an artist.
