Originally from Yokohama, Ken grew up listening to SADE and HALL & OATES from a young age, influenced by his parents who ran a record store in the '80s. He was inspired by the golden age of hip hop in the early '90s and began his DJ career full-time. His performances, which seem to weave together a wide variety of genres into a single, comfortable groove, have earned him a reputation as a danceable DJ, gaining support not only from audiences but also from many fellow performers both in Japan and overseas. In March 2008, he was selected as the opening act for CRAZY KEN BAND's "ZERO TOUR," expanding his horizons. In recent years, he has DJed in New York and various Asian countries, as well as at high-end venues such as major brand parties and hotels, and at outdoor festivals, transcending the confines of clubs. He has also hosted Abema Mix, a live broadcast every Monday on Abema TV's HIPHOP channel, which launched in January 2017, for five years, and has been selected to appear on the channel's popular program "mynameis," raising expectations for his future activities. His numerous mixes, which have been released regularly without interruption for over 20 years, are a collection of supreme works that encapsulate his pursuit of musicality that transcends genres and his live-music playing, solidifying his immense support from good music lovers all over Japan and releasing official mixes on numerous labels. Furthermore, in 2023, he launched his YouTube channel, launching the "Eternal Views" series, featuring beautiful video footage and DJ mixes.
