Shukei Tamaoki and Seijun Kato, both from Hachijojima Island, Tokyo, met Ayako Takeda and Yutaka Yanagisawa at university. As a result, while still in the pop music arena, their sound, with its diverse backgrounds and lyrics that excel at wordplay, is free from the confines of genre or national/international boundaries. They were voted to perform on the main stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'16 “ROOKIEA GO-GO” the following year. They have been attracting attention as a next generation Japanese rock band, appearing at numerous domestic festivals. In March 2017, they released their first album “Jinsei, Yamaori Tani Ori” nationwide; in August 2018, they released their second album ‘AHA’; in October 2019, they released a song written for NHK Minna no Uta, ""Kamukamo-shikamo-nidomokamo!! ""In June 2021, they released their 4th album “ARK WITH THE LINE” which includes ‘Zokkon’, the theme song of the theatrical animation “Umibe No Etranger”. In June 2024, they will release their new album “The Buffet”, which includes ‘Mokemon’, the theme song for April's “Synapusyu”, a TV program for infants and toddlers on TV Tokyo. Their first nationwide tour in three years was sold-out shows in various locations, and an additional show was held in Hachijojima, Tokyo. They are also expanding their activities globally, including a one-man tour throughout Asia and the other countries.
