【PUNPEE】　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　PUNPEE is one of Japan's leading hip-hop artists. He is a rapper, DJ, track maker, sound engineer, and producer. He has collaborated with Japan's leading singers, including Yuzo Kayama, Hikaru Utada, and Gen Hoshino, and has performed at the Fuji Rock Festival as a solo act. His multi-talented talent also includes the opening song and jingle for the popular TBS program ""Wednesday Downtown."" As a group, he released two albums, ""TOY BOX"" in 2012 and ""BUSINESS CLASS"" in 2015. He began his solo career in 2017. In July 2018, he released his first solo album, ""The Beam."" In February 2020, he released the mini-album ""NOT BUSY."" In March, he produced and appeared as a guest on the title track of Kimura Kaela's album, ""ZIG ZAG.""
In August, he released his second album, ""Boston Bag."" He also participated in the theme song, produced by STUTS, for the TV drama ""Omaeda Towako and Her Three Ex-Husbands,"" which began airing in April 2021. ""Boston Bag"" won the Grand Prize at the Apple Vinegar Music Awards 2021. He has also participated in the works of numerous other artists. In March 2022, he released the mini-album ""Because He's Kind."" In August, he released the double-name EP ""Shounen Jidai"" with SUMMIT labelmate PUNPEE. In July 2024, they released the mini-album ""busy"" and held BIM ""busy"" ONE MAN LIVE 2024, their first in two years, in the same month.
