THA OMEDETAZ are a haphazard group of people who celebrate all 365 days of the year. Based in Toyama, they're a rap group of five MCs and one DJ who "celebrate the everyday." They create and sing songs about actual anniversaries registered with the Japan Anniversary Association and national holidays. They've celebrated obscure anniversaries like "Ghost Day," "Shaved Ice Day," and "Daredemo Dance Day," as well as well-known holidays like "New Year's Day," "Labor Thanksgiving Day," and "Coming of Age Day." Their goal is to celebrate all 365 days of the year, but they're still only halfway there. In addition to music, they tend to create everything themselves, from artwork and merchandise to videos. Released in 2018, "Sanzu no Riverside" reached number one on Spotify's "Viral Top 50 (Japan)." Since then, they have been expanding the scope of their activities daily, including producing music with a high school in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, collaborating with FREAK'S STORE, providing music for Toyama Daihatsu, writing lyrics for Hypnosis Mic, and providing tracks for Chelmico. Celebrating their 10th anniversary since their formation last year, they released their fourth album "COLLECT10N" on November 6th, and tickets immediately sold out for their solo live concert held at Shibuya WWW on December 7th. Tickets for all shows on their 2025 anniversary tour were also sold out, and their Instagram followers have exceeded 37,000. They have also been confirmed to appear at major events such as the Hibiya Music Festival 2025.
