Formed in 1988. Members are Tortoise Matsumoto (vocals, guitar), John B (bass), and Sankon Jr. (drums).
Debuted in 1992. Breaking through with the 1995 single "Guts Da Ze!!" and the following year's "Banzai - I'm Glad I Like You."
Their album "Banzai" sold over one million copies. They are a one-of-a-kind band that has released numerous hits.
They took a hiatus in 2009, but relaunched in 2014 after a four-and-a-half-year hiatus. Since then, they have continued to captivate audiences with their stunning live performances, not only on their own tours and at their annual outdoor live show "Yassa," but also at festivals across the country. Their latest singles are "It's Okay for Old Men to Dance Weird!" in June and "Seishun" in July.
