An alternative hip-hop unit comprising four MCs—SAM, MAXI, YUTA, and MATHEUS—and DJ OTA, the group launched in earnest in 2023. Drawing from diverse backgrounds, these five individuals with unique personalities blend together—much like sunlight filtering through the trees—to express their own original culture through music. They have garnered support from their generation—inspiring admiration and empathy alike—thanks to a borderless sound that fuses hip-hop, rock, R&B, and pop, alongside lyrics that authentically portray relatable emotions such as dreams, hopes, vulnerabilities, and anxieties. Their 2024 release "Giri Giri" went viral, surpassing 2.3 billion total views on TikTok and hitting number one on the Billboard Japan TikTok Weekly chart, the TikTok song ranking, and the Spotify Viral Chart; it became a massive hit, winning awards such as the "TikTok Trend Awards 2024" and the "Simeji Presents Gen Z Trend Awards." In 2025, they released their first EP, *ORBIS*. They continue to expand their following as artists, including by hosting their own event series, "FROM TOKYO." With all five members also active as fashion models, they stand as "next-generation icons" who bridge the worlds of music, fashion, and culture. They are admired by many young people as a group that transforms both the light and shadow of everyday life into something positive.
