After graduating from high school, he began collecting records while studying abroad in Los Angeles; upon returning to Japan, he launched his DJ career based in his hometown of Ibaraki. While rooted in underground hip-hop and breakbeats, he has expanded his musical range to include jazz, soul, Latin, disco, and house. He performs primarily using vinyl, notably as a regular DJ at "MAGNETIC"—an event hosted by DJ KAWASAKI and Shacho (SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS)—at The Room in Shibuya. Currently, he runs "Banda Coffee & Goods" in Mitaka, Tokyo, where he works to create a space where music, coffee, and culture intersect. With outdoor activities like surfing and backcountry sports serving as a central part of his life, he delivers DJ sets that fluidly traverse genres and eras, anchored by a Balearic sound.
